Espana jrs. played an intelligent game against Galaxy keeping the Galaxy offense away from the goal. This game was a team effort starting from our two goalkeepers Erik Orellana and Andrew Hamisch who made spectacular saves off corner kicks and shots outside the box in the last minutes of the game. The amazing thing about this game is the age differnce between the two teams. All of the Galaxy players are under twelve players and have the biggest player #23 who will be U13 is a true U13 player according to Cal South age classification. Kaylan Curtsinger was David battling Goliac in the midfield. Kaylan out dribbled , out smart him and out skilled Goliac with heart and determination. Joseph Blancarte and Jose Ordonez carried the team on thir shoulders offensively and all of their teammates kept their shape attacking and defending “a la azzurri Italia style”, fighting every ball like it was the last ball including our youngest 9yr old players Christopher, Jorge, Javien, Peter and our new players Ernesto and Conner…… Good Job Espana jrs.
